Two Girls One Vision

From complete strangers to friends, owners Faith and Fiona co-own and operate the Porthole. This woman-owned business was born from a mutually recognized need for early morning fare in the Seward Harbor. They came to this realization despite their difference in backgrounds. Fiona has worked directly in the harbor alongside captains and deckhands, who constantly lamented the lack of breakfast options for their early morning charters. Faith, through her extensive restaurant and hospitality experience within the Seward's tourist industry, heard the same complaints. Finally, they decided to do something about it. The Porthole opened its windows in August 2020 and has only been gaining momentum since.
